A Night at the Ballpark with the Smile Dental Family
Our team spends a lot of time together. Most days, that means caring for patients, answering phones, solving problems, helping one another, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Every once in a while, it’s nice to trade the office for somewhere completely different.
In August, we all packed up our families and headed to Chase Field for an SDC Team & Family Night cheering on the Arizona Diamondbacks. There were kids, spouses, partners, coworkers, food, a great view of the field, and a whole lot of smiling without anyone having to say, “Open a little wider.”
More Than Coworkers
When you visit our office, you see the people who help take care of you. You may not always see the friendships and relationships behind the scenes that make our team what it is. We spend a big part of our lives working together, so we think it matters that we genuinely enjoy being together too.
Our night at Chase Field gave everyone a chance to slow down, bring the people they love along, and simply enjoy each other’s company. No scrubs, no schedules, and no dental instruments required. Just a team and our families making some memories together.
Our Families Are Part of the SDC Family Too
One of the best parts of the evening was seeing everyone’s families together. The people who support our team outside the office are an important part of our story too. They’re the ones we go home to at the end of the day, the ones who hear our stories, and the ones cheering us on behind the scenes.
Bringing everyone together made the evening feel less like a work event and more like a family night out, exactly what we hoped. Judging by the smiles in these photos, some of our youngest guests may have been the biggest D-backs fans of the evening.
Good Teams Make Time for Fun
The relationships within our team matter because they shape the atmosphere you experience when you walk through our doors. Working well together matters, of course, but so do laughing together, getting to know each other’s families, celebrating one another, and occasionally discovering who takes baseball very seriously. Those shared experiences help make our office feel more like a community than a workplace.
Thanks for Being Part of It
Our evening at Chase Field let us celebrate the people who make our clinic what it is, along with the families who support them every day. We’re incredibly grateful for this team, but our SDC family extends beyond the people in these pictures. It also includes you.
Many of you have been coming to see us for years, and you’ve trusted us with your children, parents, spouses, friends, and neighbors. Those relationships mean a great deal to all of us. We hope you enjoy this little glimpse of what we get up to when we’re not taking care of smiles.
Next time you see us, feel free to tell us where your baseball loyalties lie. We promise your answer won’t affect your dental care! Schedule an appointment at our office located in Phoenix, AZ, and come see us soon.
